Living History displays
Whatever the venue, Discover
History can make it come alive with the sights, sounds and smells of
your desired age. For indoor events, we can dress rooms appropriately
to the setting or for outdoor events, we can provide an encampment.
Many topics can be covered that are as diverse as domestic life and
social etiquette to military life looking at trained bands and
seamanship.
Our displays are very flexible and cover a wide range of scenes to
suit your requirements. We also have a range of historical characters
available to wander around your site/event chatting to the public and
adding atmosphere during the day or for evening events.
We also offer a range of activities that are fully hands-on and suitable for people of all ages and abilities.
School workshops
Discover
History use their expertise and understanding to enhance your pupil's
historical knowledge by visiting your school as a complimentary
teaching aid. All of our displays are based along the guidelines of the
National Curriculum. Suitable for all ages and abilities our workshops
allow he children to see, feel, and even smell the authentic and
historically accurate artefacts that we bring.
