Insurance details

As you will know, Tabulae Ltd. offers you the opportunity of getting your Public Liability Insurance through us with Musicians Insurance Services (MIS). MIS have been in contact  with Norwich Union and can now offer kit insurance, both in transit and on site, something that we have been asked about many times.

We have also investigated gunpowder and fire-arms insurance and although this would make our general insurance very expensive we have found a cost-effective add-on policy through the Shooters Rights Association, that will allow you to use firearms/works/pyrotechnic displays if necessary.

The following is a recap of what the insurance policies mean to you and which are required. If you need or would like further information on the available policies then either click on the title below or contact us directly.

Public Liability. You need this to perform (in any capacity) in front of the public in a professional capacity. All Tabulae accreditees require £5,000,000 professional public liability insurance (either through us or through your own broker. This only insures you/your business for injury or harm to members of the public as a result of something that you have done/not done.

Equipment Insurance. This will insure your equipment and accoutrements both in transit and on site.

Firearms/pyrotechnics insurance. This policy is offered by the Shooters rights association and will allow you to use guns and pyrotechnics as part of your displays. It is additional to the public liability policy which does not cover gunpowder.

Health care. As we are all self employed, you may wish to insure yourself with personal health insurance
