In addition to managing Wakefield Council Museums' Learning and Skills team (covering 2 museums, 2 castles and a 1680s living history site!), vsI am a freelance heritage educator, designing and delivering sessions for all ages and abilities from family activities to school visits or adult lectures.

My main expertise is in late Medieval and Tudor domestic life and crafts but I have also developed sessions for the Roman (textiles, cosmetics, games), Saxon (textiles, games), Georgian (1750s), Victorian (1880s schoolmistress, games), WW2 (housewife) periods. This includes the clothing and props to facilitate these presentations.

I am always happy to design sessions specific to a site, and educational sessions can be designed to cover several different aspects of the curriculum.
