The Georgian period saw change with the agrarian revolution, the Blacksmith was pivotal in making and maintaining the new farm machinery as well as his continued roles in farriery and general smithing.
Using
authentic tools, anvil, forge and bellows I can demonstrate
all the necessary skills a Blacksmith needed to provide a valuable
service producing a wide variety of domestic items and accoutrements as
required in all aspects of daily life.
Trading as Forest Glass
we supply hand blown historical glass. Covering periods from 1st to
19th C, our glass, which is imported from small family glasshouses in
the Czech Republic, is of high quality and well researched. We have
supplied glass to various museums and establishments throughout the
country including The Museum of London, Royal Collage of art and the
Globe Theatre.
