 | I tell traditional stories from Northern Europe in modern voice: presentations can be specially themed, tailored to special interest groups and made suitable for all ages. Together with my partner I show many aspects of wax chandlery from straining and dipping to use in polishes and cosmetics (though not the practical aspects of embalming…) We also demonstrate medieval/renaissance gambling, puzzles and games of skill with the opportunity for hands–on participation by both children and adults As well as selling beeswax products, boardgames and puzzles I also cast pewter jewellery and talismans and make replicas of late medieval and early Tudor dress accessories such as hats, hoods, spectacles and pattens. |
