mb01.jpgWhat did the Romans do for us? They introduced us to gardening for pleasure!

Many ideas that we still use in our own gardens were brought to us by the Romans, including: Topiary, grape vines, Mediterranean herbs, tools and gardening books. My display includes tools, plants and examples of  the uses of plants. I will explain how the Romans gardened based on their own gardening authors.

Why do you plant according to the phases of the moon?

How do you repel thunder storms?

Who was the topiarus?
