| The Victorian period was a time for grand display and exotic plants in
the garden. Plants were coming into Britain from all over the world. New
technology and the abolition of Glass Tax allowed for massive
greenhouses to grow the thousands of bedding plants required by the
wealthy to impress their friends. I will entertain your visitors with tales of the life of the men who made the gardens so beautiful and provided the food for the estate. |
My display includes tools, equipment and plants. I can explain your gardens to your visitors and even demonstrate how the tools were used in your garden.
